Love Under the Balinese Moonlight at Plenilunio Bali

The Story

As the warm breeze tousled my hair and the sun dipped low over the horizon, I stood on the cliff’s edge, overlooking the vast expanse of the Indian Ocean. This was my canvas, and I was about to paint a masterpiece of love.

My name is Milka, and I’ve spent years orchestrating weddings that transcend cultures and bring hearts together. But Maya and Jamal’s love story was something truly special—a fusion of Indian and Jamaican roots, blossoming in the heart of New York City and now reaching its pinnacle here in Bali.

When Maya and Jamal first approached me, their eyes glimmering with excitement and a touch of uncertainty, I knew I had found kindred spirits. They craved adventure, just like me. They wanted a wedding that honored their heritage while embracing the beauty of Bali.

“I’ve planned weddings for couples from all over the world,” I assured them, my voice filled with genuine enthusiasm. “Your vision is unique, and I can’t wait to bring it to life.”

Together, we scouted the perfect venue, and when we stumbled upon Stone House Bali, it was as though destiny had guided us there. The cliffside location, with its panoramic views and rustic charm, mirrored the depth and strength of Maya and Jamal’s love.

Over the months of planning, I became not just their wedding coordinator but also their confidante. They shared stories of their families, their dreams, and the challenges they had overcome. Maya’s eyes sparkled with excitement as she described the vibrant colors she envisioned for the decor, while Jamal’s infectious laugh filled the room whenever we discussed the music playlist.

As the wedding day drew near, my team and I worked tirelessly to ensure every detail was perfect. Maya and Jamal made two trips to Bali—one to taste the exquisite local cuisine and another to select accommodations for their guests. Each visit strengthened our bond and reinforced their trust in my ability to make their dreams a reality.

On the morning of the wedding, as I stood beside Maya, her hands clasped tightly around her bouquet, I felt a surge of joy and pride. This was more than just another event; it was a celebration of love and unity, a testament to the power of love to bridge cultures and defy boundaries.

As Maya walked down the aisle, radiating beauty and grace, Jamal’s eyes never left her. The air was filled with the sounds of laughter, music, and the crashing waves below—a symphony of happiness that echoed the harmony of their union.

In that moment, as I watched them exchange vows against the backdrop of a Bali sunset, I knew that love had triumphed once again. Maya and Jamal had found their happily ever after, and I was honored to have played a part in their extraordinary love story.

Miranda and James Wedding Story in Bali

Planning Miranda and James’ wedding was a unique and fulfilling experience for me as a wedding planner specializing in Bali destination weddings. They envisioned a beautiful blend of Minang traditional and Muslim customs, set against the stunning backdrop of Bali.

Incorporating Minang traditions into a Muslim wedding in Bali was no small feat. The Minang traditional wedding is known for its intricate accessories and elaborate ceremonies, making it a culturally rich but complex celebration to orchestrate.

From the outset, Miranda and James were passionate about showcasing their Minang heritage alongside their Muslim beliefs. As their wedding planner from Chroma Wedding, I was dedicated to making their dream come true.

One of the highlights of the planning process was collaborating closely with Miranda’s and James’ families to ensure every detail of the Minang traditional attire and accessories was meticulously presented. It required patience, understanding, and teamwork, but with the support of their families, we were able to showcase the beauty of Minang culture on their special day.

The choice of venue was equally important. Ungasan Clifftop, with its breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean, provided a picturesque setting for their multicultural union. It was a perfect backdrop for blending Minang traditions with the serenity of Bali’s landscapes.

Capturing the essence of their wedding was entrusted to the talented photographer, Ario Narendro, whose images beautifully encapsulated the fusion of cultures and love shared by Miranda and James.

Witnessing Miranda and James exchange vows in a ceremony that honored both their Minang heritage and Muslim faith was incredibly moving. Their wedding exemplified the beauty of cultural diversity and unity, celebrating love in its purest form.

Being part of Miranda and James’ journey to create a memorable and meaningful wedding in Bali was an absolute privilege. Their wedding showcased the magic of blending traditions and cultures against the enchanting backdrop of Bali’s natural beauty.

Coffee turns into a unique beverage at weddings

Public interest in coffee consumption does not stop with the proliferation of coffee shops in many big cities. This beverage has penetrated many domains, including wedding parties.

bali wedding coffee

In the middle of wedding vendors such as catering, decorations, even venues, at the inauguration of the wedding marketplace, Bali Wedding Easy, at the IC Center, Kuta, Bali, Friday, May 17, 2019, there is a coffee serving booth, Nutbrown Coffee.

Yogi Rabani, as Nutbrown Coffee staff, explained that they have been trying to offer coffee serving services at weddings for a year. “The market in Bali has an interest in coffee,” he said.

He added, Nutbrown Coffee was originally only served at events and meetings. However, seeing the interest shown, they tried to reach a wider market, namely the prospective wedding couple.

Not only as a souvenir, this beverage that is closely related to Indonesian local wisdom can now be enjoyed at weddings. “Besides being a favorite beverage, coffee is usually a substitute for alcohol. Because, some events do not allow alcohol, “he said.

Yogi explained, in the presentation, Nutbrown Coffee used Kintamani arabica coffee as the basis. “All (coffee) is local, especially Bali. More specifically, we took coffee from the Ulian area, Kintamani, “he explained.

To warm up a wedding, this coffee brand set a package of IDR 3 million for rental booths, equipment and baristas, and IDR 25 thousand for each cup. The type of coffee served is according to the agreement with the wedding couple.

“The base price is just booth rental. Furthermore, we do not have a minimum order, “he said.

Unfortunately, the service of serving coffee at this wedding is only available at events in Bali. Not only found in a series of events on the Island of the Gods, Nutbrown Coffee has its own shop in the Denpasar area if you want to stop by.
