Chroma Wedding was established in Bali in 2011 by Milka, after several years of helping close friends plan their weddings on the island beginning in 2009. What started as personal assistance gradually became a professional practice shaped by experience rather than trend.
From the beginning, the work has been centered on clarity. Many couples come to Bali with strong ideas but limited visibility into how things truly function here. Venues, vendor culture, seasonal timing, family dynamics, financial comfort. These are the variables that shape a wedding long before décor or styling enters the conversation.

Milka’s role developed naturally within that space. She became known not for pushing concepts, but for keeping decisions aligned. Understanding when to support an idea fully, and when to slow it down so it remains workable.
Chroma Wedding operates with a structured approach. Priorities are identified early. Budgets are mapped realistically. Vendor recommendations are made based on long-term working relationships and proven reliability. The process is deliberate. Nothing is rushed for effect.
In 2019, Bali Wedding Easy was introduced as a separate division focused on curated wedding packages. It works with vendors who have collaborated with us over many years, offering a more predefined framework for couples who prefer clarity from the outset.
Today, Chroma Wedding continues to work quietly behind the scenes, guiding the planning from first conversation to wedding day. The celebration always belongs to the couple. Our responsibility is to make sure it unfolds with composure, structure, and confidence.

The Principal
Milka did not begin her career in wedding planning.
Before moving to Bali, she worked in Jakarta as a fashion editor for a leading fashion magazine, a role that brought her to major international fashion capitals, working closely with global brands and creative teams. The experience shaped her eye for detail and trained her to work with precision across cultures and deadlines.

After relocating to Bali to follow her husband, a professional photographer, she continued in the creative field as a fashion designer before supporting his photography business in marketing and client coordination. Through those relationships, she became closely connected with wedding venues and vendors across the island.
Friends began asking for her help with their weddings in Bali in 2009. What started informally grew into a structured practice, and in 2011 she established Chroma Wedding.
Today, many of her clients come from overseas or are Indonesians living abroad, along with couples traveling from cities across Indonesia. As projects increased in scale and complexity, she developed the Chroma Wedding workbook, an online document that allows clients to track vendor decisions, budget allocations, and payment timelines clearly throughout the planning process.
Despite this structure, the way she works remains personal. She works on each wedding with the attention of a personal project, rather than as a volume-based service. Her strength lies in stability. She listens carefully, evaluates realistically, and ensures that ambition remains aligned with what is workable.
